Every map starts with a walk. The Map Maker is a Calgary map-maker who believes the best adventures aren't found in guidebooks — they're drawn around your story: your streets, your milestones, your people.
What began as hand-drawn treasure hunts for friends has grown into custom maps, public events, and team adventures across the city. Each one is crafted with care — real places, thoughtful routes, and a few surprises along the way.
Whether it's your first date-night quest or your company's hundredth team outing, you'll be greeted with a warm welcome and a map made like it matters. Because it does.

Most custom maps take 5–10 business days from the time we agree on the details. Bigger adventures with lots of stops can take a little longer — I'll always give you a clear timeline before we start.
A high-resolution digital download of your map — print-ready files (PDF and PNG) sized for home printing or a professional print shop. You can also follow the adventure straight from your phone.
Yes! Your files are print-ready. A home printer works for a casual adventure; for a gift or keepsake, any local print shop can produce a beautiful large-format print.
Buy a ticket through the links above and show up at the meeting point. I provide the maps and all materials, explain the rules, and send you off on your adventure. Most events run 1–2 hours and are great for all ages.
Sometimes! If you have a tight deadline — a surprise party next weekend, say — mention it in your request and I'll tell you honestly whether I can make it happen. A small rush fee may apply.
Custom digital maps can be made for anywhere. For hosted events and team building, I'm based in Calgary and happy to travel nearby — tell me where you're thinking and we'll figure it out.
